Cicadamania 1.7 mi/10k/17 Mi Brood X American Tour
Get amped to make some noise for the most buzzworthy event of the season!
You may have heard of Brood X – Brood 10, in Roman numerals – the giant generation of cicadas emerging from the ground as we speak. Aka the hottest act to break onto the scene this summer.
Or you may have literally heard Brood X making noise outside your window on a summer night. Their talent and decibels know no bounds.
Celebrate this special phenomenon, occurring once every 17 years, with a special race event. It’s a festival of miles celebrating fantastic insect music. Wherever you are, on your own schedule, seek out the intense hum of the cicada over 1.7 miles,10k (6.2 miles), or 17 miles (for our hard core rockers!). No amp required. The only need is you, out there, living your best life by rocking your best miles, dude!
You missed out!

You can race whenever and wherever you feel like it! There is no deadline to complete your distance. We just ask that you have fun and feel accomplished once you've completed it.
Nope. You can complete your race distance in your movement method of choice. Running is great, but so is walking, biking, dancing, swimming, rollerblading, rucking...
We find some of our participants like to do multiple Virtual Running Club events at once. If you want to double-dip – that is, apply your miles to multiple events – you have our full permission to do so. Choose whatever works best for you!
Yes! A portion of your registration will benefit the Wander Project.
