Due to popular demand this race has been reissued!
Smokey Bear has been fighting fires and reminding us that it's up to us us to prevent them since 1944. Few have been as consistent as Smokey throughout the years and we are excited to celebrate him and continue the fight.
You're invited to join us as we celebrate 75 years of Smokey with this fun race that comes with some awesome swag! Join us for the officially licensed Smokey Bear 75th Birthday 1K/5K/10K/Half Marathon.
This is a virtual race so you can run, walk or hike this race and do it wherever you want! Sign up now. A portion of each registration will be used by the US Forest Service to further Smokey's mission of fire education and prevention.

Other Important Details
Official Race Day
Registration will be open through race day as supplies last. Most people will run that day BUT you can do it when and where works best for you. Because we strive to honor the tradition of in-person races, you’ll receive messages as if that is race day for you, just know that we’re okay with it if you need to do something different.
Where's My Swag?
Bibs
Bibs will be ordered to print about every 3 weeks. It takes about 1 week to print and then another week to ship. Look for your bib to arrive about a month after you sign up.
Medals
Medals must be earned by finishing the race. This helps us maintain the spirit of the traditional race experience. Medals are shipped about once every 2 weeks or so to those participants who (1) added a medal to their registration AND (2) reported their race finish by the reporting deadline.
