Shirts and sunglasses ship separately in the methods and timeframes listed below. All other items for this challenge are digital, and do not ship.
Sunglasses
- Ship with a tracking email from support@virtualrunningclub.com
- Ship within a week of reporting event completion on the VRC mobile app

- Printed on-demand and expected to arrive roughly 2 weeks after you place an order
This event remains open for registration while supplies last.
Your registration comes with access to the VRC mobile app. You’ll use the app to log miles and earn digital character badges. Click here to download the app on iOS or Android, then follow the instructions below:
- Enter the email address associated with your registration.
- Click the Digital Get to Sesame Street Challenge to report your race completion.
- Select “Add Activity” to log miles.
- Enter your miles and click “Save”.
- When you reach a milestone, your freshly earned digital badge will pop up on your screen. Congrats!
- When you finish all 100 or 500 miles, click the “Claim” button and follow the prompts to receive your Goodr polarized sunglasses.

There’s a special Facebook group for Sesame Street Races & Challenges. We believe it’s one of the most positive corners of the internet, where members share their achievements and cheer each other on. Joining the group is entirely voluntary.
This challenge is designed to be completed on your timeline. You will be able to log miles and earn your digital badges through December 31, 2023.
Your digital bib is included in your registration confirmation email. Make sure support@virtualrunningclub.com is on your safe list, so that you receive the email directly in your inbox.
We encourage you to print your bib out and wear it with pride as you conquer the miles!
Yes! A portion of proceeds will benefit Sesame Workshop.
Work with our friends at Wander Project and when you raise the minimum threshold for a non-profit (usually $500), Virtual Running Club will sponsor your participation in this event at no cost to you!
